Comprehensive Entrepreneur  and Small Business Education

 

The Entrepreneur Development Center offers a structured four-tier curriculum designed to support business owners at every stage of their journey. Our programs combine practical skills, strategic thinking, and real-world application to help you build a successful, sustainable business.

Core Curriculum

 

Level 1: DEVELOP (4 Weeks)

Transform your business idea into a validated concept through our foundational program. You'll learn essential market research techniques, customer discovery methods, financial basics, and pitch development. By the end, you'll have a clear understanding of your target market and a validated business model.

Level 2: BUILD (8 Weeks)

Move from concept to operational business with our comprehensive launch program. Covering business planning, legal structure, marketing strategy, operations setup, and launch preparation, BUILD provides everything you need to open your doors with confidence.

Level 3: GROW (8 Weeks)

Ready to expand? Our growth-focused program helps established businesses scale strategically. You'll develop skills in team building, systems optimization, market expansion, and performance management while creating a customized growth plan for your business.

Level 4: EXIT (8 Weeks)

Plan for your business's future with our transition and succession program. Whether preparing for sale, partnership, or generational transfer, you'll learn valuation methods, deal structuring, legacy planning, and transition management to maximize your business's value.

Quarterly Workshops & Specialized Training

 

Between our core programs, we offer targeted workshops addressing specific business needs:

  • Digital Marketing Mastery: Hands-on training in social media, website optimization, and online advertising

  • Financial Management for Small Business: Bookkeeping, cash flow management, and funding strategies

  • Sales Acceleration: Customer acquisition, relationship management, and closing techniques

  • Technology Integration: Software selection, system implementation, and digital transformation

  • Industry-Specific Roundtables: Specialized sessions for retail, service, manufacturing, and technology businesses

 

Community Access Initiative

 

The EDC is committed to making entrepreneurship education accessible to all Flagler County residents. Our Community Access Initiative provides scholarships covering up to 100% of program costs for qualifying individuals from underserved areas, including:

  • Rural Flagler County communities

  • Low to moderate income neighborhoods

  • Minority entrepreneurs

  • Women business owners

  • Veteran entrepreneurs

  • Youth entrepreneurs (18-25)

Scholarship opportunities are available for all programs and determined based on need and commitment to community impact.
